THE SHOPPING QUESTION
Finding a style is one decision.
Finding a fit is another.
For maternity and nursing clothing, product choice comes with questions about changing measurements, comfort, and everyday use. A useful storefront needs room for both the collection and the information behind a choice.
My work covered the Shopify storefront, custom sections, and an automated size chart. This case follows those capabilities from browsing to the product decision.
DISCOVER / CUSTOM SECTIONS
Give the collection
a clear starting point.
“Where do I begin?”
Custom Shopify sections were part of my contribution. They provide the building blocks for arranging a storefront around a brand’s products and content.
The current collection view makes the shopping structure visible: product photography, names, prices, colour options, filtering and sorting sit together. It shows the context in which a shopper moves from the range to an individual product.

Let the products lead. Give the next decision a clear place.
DECIDE / AUTOMATED SIZE CHART
Put useful guidance
beside the choice.
“Which size should I choose?”
My contribution included an automated size chart, giving shoppers a practical sizing reference while considering a product.
On the current store, the size guide opens from the product page. The dresses view brings bust and hip measurements, centimetre/inch controls, and a size chart into one panel.

Guidance changes with the garment category.
The panel explains which measurements to use.
Size ranges remain available alongside the fields.

Keep the product
and its details connected.
“What do I need to know next?”
The storefront build connects the collection to an individual product. The design consideration is simple: keep the garment, available options, and useful information within the same shopping context.
This current product view shows that relationship in practice, with the image beside the description, size controls, sizing help, and delivery information.

About the evidence
Project scope comes from my original portfolio. The desktop and mobile captures were made on 23 October 2026 and show the store at that time. They are not archived launch screens or a before-and-after comparison.
The case describes features and design intent. Commercial performance metrics are not included because a verified measurement record was not available.
